As the subject says, please fellow DET owners what type of Radiator, radiator cap, lubricants, etc, basically whatever type of cooling component there is in your car. I have a 96' 200 with a Bigger NX2000 radiator, with both fans always on, water wetter, water and coolant mixture with the 300zx 11.1 cap. My dilemma is after cruising the highway at about 70 for 25 miles or so the car rises from about 40% to 60% on the temp gauge and really makes me nervous. So please put your 2 cents in here and help a member out! thanks!

the factory gauge is not very accurate. get a name brand gauge if you want to know what temp. your running at. i use an autometer ultra-lite in my car. I'm not turbo yet, but on my way.

Sure the factory gauge does not show actual temperature, but if it shows that you are at 60% then you are definitely above normal.

I run water wetter as well. My DET runs a little hot as well, but only when it's 90-100 degrees outside. I have a stock radiator with no mods to the thermostat. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the answer is.

I run the Koyo polished aluminum Radiator on my 200sx det. I payed 400.00 out the door for it, I am also running the flexlite fans which works great. I have no problems keeping cool

I took my thermostat out, also how could you bleed the system?

when you fill the coolant sytem up, after it has been totaly emptied. there is a screw on the thermostat housing, not that holds it on , but is just there, remove it and fill you coolant sytem untill fluid comes out of this hole. put the screw in, rad cap on, and drive it till it warms up, and then make sure it is still full.

Hey could anyone give me the web address where i can order a flexalite fan for my 200sx. I need one for the driver's side, because the stock one is touching the radiator hose and sort-of kinking it, so hopefully a slimmer fan will be the solution. Also what are the sizes of our fans, so you guys that are running slimmer fans, please help me out! thanks
