Whats a good place to buy the filter for a HS CAI? I have a warm air setup right now with a K&N cone on it but it looks like it will be to big to fit down in the fender. Can I buy this right from HS?

How big is the filter? I have a JWT POP on my CAI, and it fits under the fender just fine.

Yea I think you could order it directly from hotshot, their website is messed up though...but why doesn't your K&N fit? I have the Place Racing CAI with a K&N too and it fit fine, just gotta make the hole bigger right?

Im also using the JWT k&n POP filter on my HS CAI. Fits nice no probs. From the last time i checked the filter alone that goes on to the aluminum piece(horn) is bout 80 bucks from HS.

I know auto zone sells alot of k&n stuff, well, at least the one by my house......... probably alot cheaper than going through hotshot too.

Oh I figure that since the filter that come with the HS is so small that the K&N wouldn't fit. Thanx for clearing it up everyone! :)

yeah Auto Zone sells similar filters but im not sure about the inlet diam. and quality..for 19 bucks not bad for a cone filter...they have a little cheap rice section now that grows more and more.

I want to say it is a 3" id, I can probably try to find a part # on it, just gotta dig through a bunch of stuff out in the shed, that's all :)
