Hey guys, just wanted to get a little feedback on a question I have. My SE-R has CAI,header,plugs,wires,advanced timing,JWT S3's and that is about it as far as the motor goes but no exhaust. The car seems to run strong, but I was wondering what kind of gain do you think I will see? I have had cars with exhausts before but not with all the bolt-ons and no exhaust. I ordered the Stromung 2.25 Stainless exhaust with the dual 3' tips. Another question is: With the mods that I have where will I feel a difference and do you think it will be noticeable. I raced a SI civic with some bolt-ons and a flywheel and we were about neck and neck. I am hoping that this exhaust will put me over the top to beat him. Thanks for the comments. what kind of sr20 are you driving?? Also, with the mods you have now, you should be able to walk all over that si, even if he has some mods done. Exaust will help you up top and it will work well with your other mods, but it wont make a huge difference.

dude, what about the JWT computer with the POP and S3 program? You wont be neck and neck with an Si with that... believe me, I know.

Check my sig - with that, a Civic Si with bolt-ons doesn't come close to us...

Exhaust make a very big different on my car, i got the greddy Sp exhaust, my car open alot more better when i put them on. This is one of my favorite mod.

Exhaust makes a good amount of difference, should be enough for you to spank that Si!

Just a guess but I think he has a 2k+ Sentra and JWT is not making an ecu for that car. Yet?

I don't think so because he has S3 cams

THX for the info. I have a 94 SE-R. (low port) I also have the UR pulleys I forgot to mention and the GC coilovers w/ KYB AGX's with front and rear sway bar and a STEAL-IN Strut bar with ES motor mounts and a few more things, but they really don't help with the speed that I want. I don't know why, but I couldn't pull on him. It was a close ass race. With the exhaust I think I will get him. I also have an engine with 101K. That Damn VTEC is loud as hell when it is in your ear. Even with the S3's my car after 7000 rpm feels weak. I think the exhaust will help that. Atlanticblue: where did you feel the gain? I want to bet the ECU, but with putting on the GC setup,strur bar,cams,and stereo system I am broke as a joke. I will wait until I can get the JWT NOS set-up then I know I will spank him. I tried to race a GSX today. Of course I got stopmed, but not too too bad. With the JWT NOS setup I know I can hang. i would love to see his eyes when his boost kicks in and I just sit there and hang with him!!!!!!!!!!

I mention the gains I got from exhaust work in the above thread. It was on a B14 though.

I noticed a difference when I went to a 2.25 custom exhaust.
What a relief it was. I definitely recommend it.
Much better exhale for the engine.
