I just had my NX in at the bodyshop cleaning up some paint and I pick it up yesterday and what do I find...
I now have an oil leak! Some shop monkey has taken it out for a fang and the sump has a hory great dent in it that leaks like a 4in pool overnight...FxxK!

What is worse is that the NX looks tight now and I haven't for a week and it is Easter weekend so no-one to demand to fix it!

Looks like i might be in the market for a new oil pan...

If you can, try to avoid driving it like that. Not just because of the leak, but because the sump on the SR20 is notoriously sensitive to any changes in the oil pan, and you could easily spin a bearing due to oil starvation even if you have enough oil in the pan. This just happened to a guy with a turbo SE-R out here, he was on a road course and hit a burm and dented his oil pan. His motor spun a bearing very shortly after that, even though his pan wasn't leaking, and it was because of the dented oil pan.

Get that body shop to pay for a new oil pan, and make sure they know that your engine is currently in danger of spinning a bearing because of the state the shop left it in and that if they don't fix it they might be liable for an engine replacement as well.
