Just fried my GTIR engine. It's rebuild time. Gonna need forged pistons; bearings and headgasket. Anyone can help me out as to where I can get these items in the states?

Thanks,
I did search, but I can't seem to find any place selling GTIR forged pistons. Or is it that all SR pistons are the same?

Just get Cp pistons and bore the block call it a day.

Why would you really want to build a GTI-R motor? If anything I would change the pistons

Lots of places in the Miami area. How much power are you planning on making? what is wrong in the motor, the rings?

Serban works at Murrays in Miami, they carry everything.

you do not need anything special. you could use the pistons from a 300zx twin turbo. if i'm correct, your block will need to be bored 1mm over and the compression ratio will most likely be 8.5:1. just do a search for sr20de or det pistons. you WILL find parts.
