i have a 92 highport the car wont start at all it turns over but nothing happens... i changed the distributer and spark plug wireswhat else could be the problem

first of all... do you mean a 92 highport or is this a swap? all 1992 vehicles with the sr20de came with highport sr20de.

did you check your ignition coil?

have you ever messed around with the idle air control valve on the passenger side of the car? if you haven't, I wouldn't touch the adjustment, but you could clean it out.

that happened to me and it was just an engine fuse, check the fuses.

Rule of thumb is check for spark and fuel, both of these are very simple.

Spark meaning, dont just change parts verify that you are getting spark from the coil all the way to the plug.

The gas is the easiest part and if your getting both of those then you can start looking at other things.

unless electical (f*cked sensor) car needs
1. compression
2.spark (fire)
3.fuel
i had a few dropped valves in an old pontiac that wouldnt let the car start... no compression. Damn kids stole it and ran it to the ground. well faster than i would have. hehe

I tried a whole buch of stuff I will try the cil tonight I have a msd blaster coil in the house I will try that
