Im running a GT2871r but havent been able to work on the car for about 6 months, and im headed home as soon as school ends. well pretty much everything is ready to go and it should only take me a day to get everything taken care of, my question is this: what intake pipe are most of you guys running? i know the stock rubber pipping isnt going to fit so i need some aftermarket, and as much as i hate cutting corners, i wouldnt mind using some cheap intake pipe cause its hard to mess that up. but out of all the crap that has been duplicated, no one seems to have an intake pipe for the sr20det powered 240 unless i want to pay a couple hundred. i avoid custom made piping, and seeing as how the pipe only needs to be about a foot an a half long, im sure theres something i can use. so lemme know what you guys are running. thanks

There's a guy on Zilvia, is username is Pepperoni, that sells custom intake pipes for MAF-to-turbo connection. Comes with couplers and clamps, and costs from $50 to $75 or so. They're aluminum. I've got one for my stock SR but he custom-makes them to your spec - he'll also include fittings for recirc and breather, or not, however you want.

I suggest you cruise over there and send him a PM. Hope that helps.

i got my intake pipe from peperoni and its perfect. great price at $70 shipped. came with everything i needed though i didnt have the z32 maf yet, just cranked the coupler down to fit on the stock maf for a couple days before the z32 maf came in.

What you can't see is that I've edged and sliced up a line of the intake so that it will have a snug fit with my fender! http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b188/RotaryDipz/Facez/01.gif

I bought my hardpipe from Enjuku Racing, only problem was that once the filter and maf was on it didnt fit... at all. So we took some left over intercooler piping and ran the maf and filter to right behind the right vent below where you would normally have your filter. Pushing as much cold air over it as possible, plus it adds a nice custom look too. Just a suggestion.
