LMAO yeah I wasn't there for that Steve. I did explain it to someone asking about it though. I used to be a stereo nerd. I cut the well out and glassed the spare tire nipple in upside down. This allowed me to carry the spare under the car and use the well as airspace for subs.....

Eventally I will sheet metal the hole closed and get rid of the fiberglass.

Funny... it was the other way around for me. You were a good deal faster than me when I did see you so I'm surprised that you dueled with him. For the first half or so of the 1st session I ran him down and stayed with him before backing off b/c of oil temps. I'd be with him through the infield and then we'd hit the bowl and, if I had a good run on him (he was braking way too much at the last left-hander), I'd stay with him for the first half of the bowl. By halfway, he'd pull about 5 carlengths on me (I was also short-shifting 4th and 5th) but when we got to the end, he'd pussy out and brake way early and too much and I'd catch up again. We did that for 4 or 5 laps before my oil temps were too high and I backed off a good bit. Still fun though :)

I got the tires too hot in the initial "catch and release" phase of the first Blue session, Kieran. Once I caught him...it was slip-slide-city for Jason's VE Classic.

I *did* catch him, however. :D

I knew you were a Se-r Club guy just didnt get a chance to introduce myself! Hope I gave you a point by because you were on my butt pretty hard for a lap or 2. ;) I was too busy paying attention to driving on the track for the first time to look at my mirrors! :redface: Nice Saabaru by the way.
