I know our engine bay is cramped as it is but does anyone have a MSD ignition box in there engine bay. I want to get a Digital 6 sometime in the near future because of its features but i have no idea as to where to attach to, the firewall, strut tower. Any body have any ideas where to mount it at pictures would be helpful too. TIA

You can attach it to the firewall, just behind and slightly above the EGR EGR-BPT valves.

Of cousre you won't need an ignition amplifier unless you have raised the cylinder pressures considerably, either from Nos, higher engine compression or a turbo chager.

Thanks for the picture, i know I wount need an ignition amplifier right now but hopefully in a few months i will be turbo or atleast have some nitrous. By the way what car is in that picture.

actually the digital 6 plus wont fit like the analog 6 series.. it is wider..i have mine where the battery used to be since i did a relo. but i think i m gonna look for a better spot for when i put in the turbo stuff...

Yeah, i kinda figured that t00 because it is actually wider. I seen an RX-7 have two digital 6's in the trunk behind the seats were some put amps. I'm gonna have look at the engine bay a little more later to see if there is gonna be a spot or not.
