I spent couple of hours on my headlights already and i could not remove the bolts in the back of the lights. I get cut on all my fingers and bang my head twice and still no result. Is there a trick to it?

Thanks.

B14? if so then dont feel bad, they are kinda tricky.the bolts that mount the headlights are in cheap plastic part of the housing that probly broke just like all the b14s i have ever had.if you are replaceing them then just cut the bolts with a dremel.if not then you could try moving them back and forth untill they pull through the holes and then just bend the holes back so you could re-install later.that is what i did when i removed them.good luck

OH GOD, don't remind me...

Try this, but it might not help
I took my time for 3 different occassions on 3 different days...They are a Beeeotch. I ended up removing some stuff so I was able to manuever a little better, Nope... Ended up purcahsing ratchet extensions... Nope... Took my time, Nope... Duesched them with PB Blaster & WD40...

The two bolts on the inside of the lights that face the engine were all seized and rusted... I had to cut them because they just wouldn't budge. I have a lot of patience, but even I couldn't deal with these... Theres your trick homie :)

10mm deep well 1/4" drive with 5" Sears ratchet worked for me. Careful when bolts are off and you are prying to get the sucker out, sheet metal is verey thin.

F*ck those headlight bolts. :squint: I had to cut most of them on my 200sx. My Sentra lights came out easy though.

Mine needed to be cut off as well. Go Nissan engineering!

I had to cut my right side head lights out with a hand saw because the bolts were all cross threaded. As for the left it came out with just a deep socket 10mm wrench.

^^^and make sure you skin ATLEAST two knuckes an elbow, and you need to throw one ratchet at the wall to create a hole for the nissan fairies to come out of so they can remove it for you.

studies show that 60% of time it works, everytime
