when i got my 95 se-r the wheels were not flawless, of course there were some curb rubs, but it also looks like someone tried to clean the tires, got a phone call, forgot the chemicals were on there and they ran down the wheel and "burnt" the metal. we tried a little rubbing compound, you can't feel it anymore, but you can still see it. any ideas?:confused:

Dosent sound good. If it stained(burnt) the wheel you might want to consider powder coating them. Did you try a metal polishing compound? Other than that i have no idea

Sounds like the clear coat was damaged...you can always have them powdercoated....:D
