How much boost can a SR20DE hold w/ stock ecu and just the turbo, wastegate, blow-off vavle and a small intercooler? I am buying a 89 isuzu impulse for a couple hundred bucks (w/ newer turbo) and it has a IHIRHB51 turbo, very similar to a t25 and I plan on using the components from that car on my classic. When I get the money i'll have my ecu programed, buy a big intercooler and get the 370cc injectors then I will pump up the boost. For now I want the have custom pipe work done and run it all stock. What do you guys say is safe? Mabey 5-6 psi?
