: how much more horse power???
spoolinser91 05-16-2006, 03:53 AM ok at at 7 on the stock t25 setup on my u13 bluebird i am gonna put in my walbro255 fuel pump and turn the boost up to 12psi how much more horse power gain should i get from this also running stock mafs i got a good fmic and 3 inch exuast so i just want to know what going up 5psi would do for me on the stock turbo thanks
blckse-r 05-16-2006, 07:50 AM It will pick up a lot. 7psi vs 12-14 is night and day. I am running a jwt bored maf/4 bar ecu though. The stock setup might not like the added boost, just be careful.
civicdragon 05-16-2006, 08:14 AM I would be careful and not up the boost, the injectors will max out pretty fast.
=NismO= 05-16-2006, 08:26 AM does evo injectors will fit in our sr20det?
civicdragon 05-16-2006, 08:27 AM i dont know but even if they do tyou need to reprogram your ecu for the bigger injectors...
=NismO= 05-16-2006, 08:43 AM how to reprogram my stock ecu? sory i cant buy any jwt parts here or any performance parts here because there's no performance parts here in the philippines for sr20's
civicdragon 05-16-2006, 08:48 AM well you can get a greddy emanage or an apexi safc
=NismO= 05-16-2006, 09:14 AM tnx bro. i think ill get safc. cheaper. hehe. by the way i have 1 big problem. my car stall at around 5k. i run 8psi on all stock. i cant see and tired of finding it. befor, it only hapens in 3rd gear now it also hapens in 2nd.
civicdragon 05-16-2006, 09:18 AM did you recirulate your bov? also check the trubo faq forum with shows you how to make a pressure test, make that and you will have to check for leaks...
=NismO= 05-16-2006, 09:32 AM its non recirculate bov. turboxs type h rfl. i checked it all but i found no leaks.
civicdragon 05-16-2006, 09:34 AM its non recirculate bov. turboxs type h rfl. i checked it all but i found no leaks.
thats your problem right there.. nissans with mafs need to have the bov recirc'd.. do a little searching on the forum. you cant "look" for a leak you need to do a pressure test.
NX2kDET 05-16-2006, 10:03 AM I have an atmospheric BOV i have never stalled at all, it does run rich in between shifts, but I would still recommend recirculated.

This true for all Nissans with MAFs... what other option would you have of measuring air flow on Nissans besides running a MAF?

safc? am i right?
nnoriega 05-16-2006, 11:26 AM indeed, It has the decel option, plus you can always run a blow through system..
or you can use a map sensor instead of a maf and en e-manage unit... but that means more $$$$
spoolinser91 05-16-2006, 01:10 PM zo what if i get injectors z32nap and a jwt tune will this work ?????? for 12 psi safely is this all i need and what size injectors would you all recommend
civicdragon 05-16-2006, 01:32 PM yeah you can get a jwt for a lot of combos, you jsut have to make sure your equipment matches up... so the jwt has to be programmed fro the z32 maf and whatever size injectors you need...
