Well I would just like to let you all know that my digital 6 is now working. I bought a blaster ss and a new tach adapter and the car runs awesome. I don't know if it is just me but it feels like the car pull hard now since I replaced my o.e. coil and put my new ignition. Just a little patience and money did the trick.
I ended up buying a couple other things like a complete UR pulley set for 380.00 and some cross drilled rotors and pads for 230.00 both of these prices are shipped to my door. I have not recieved it yet but I plan on testing all of the above at the dragstrip. I can't wait. Too bad I can't go this weekend I am going to be in the field so it will have to wait till the weekend after next.:D

Fastred, that's GREAT news to hear considering your troubles getting that MSD D6 hooked up. You can feel a power difference, however small, just with that box! You will love it. Sounds like you already know that, though...

Ruth'less:
Just for reference, i mounted my D6 box on the driver side fender, next to the battery, right above where most CAIs go down into the fender. It's about the only place I could find big enough. However, I *might* have to move it for some turbo stuff.

fastredse-r, can you list what components you used in your car for us? And also, what chassis/year is your car? Thanks.

I installed the ignition right in front of the driver side strut on the fender well. That is where my 6a was at there really is not that many places you can put it.

hey808,
I have the digital 6+
- tach adapter part#8910
- blaster ss part# 8207
I have a 1992 SE-R without ABS and sunroof.

Here's a better look at where I put my Digital 6. It's over on the right:

Classic engine bays don't leave a whole lot of room for things like that. I'm trying to move it for intercooler piping, but I don't know where I'd put the thing. :(

Do certain years need the Tach Adapter? If so, which ones? I have the MSD Digital 6 for my '92 NX2000 but I haven't hooked it up yet.

I don't know if certain years have to have the tach adapter but all I know is that when I had my 6a I had a tach adapter so I am using one on my digital 6 and MSD said that I probably need it. My car is working now and I am not going to mess with it at least for now.
