95 SE-R NY

I was thinking about picking up a new set of s techs for my '95 SE-R... I was wondering if they would be ok on my 11 year old struts, or if I should wait until I have enough money for new struts? I searched around and can't find any clear answer to this, so no flaming please... also if you don't like the s techs for some reason let me know what you think is a better route to go with. This is my dd, so no autox or anything like that.

i would wait and save money for aftermarket struts, tein s-techs are kinda bouncy so your gona **** get some struts, honestly im not a fan of springs on nissan's, i like coilovers better

unless there hypercos there not good springs this has been covered plenty of times. Suggestion go with coilovers unless you can get your hands on some hypercos. But you will deffinatly need some new struts, i would go with koni shorted sturts if you have to go with springs becuase thats gonna be your only decent ride...

hypercos are nice and stiff but hardly any drop at all like .5 inches. get the tein basic coilovers or ground control coil overs with agx's

S-techs are like a 2" drop up front... I'd go a different route unless you're getting shortened struts or something with adjustable dampening...

Yep, as others have posted S-techs are way too drastic of a drop. Coil-overs seem to be the best option, but if you're budget limited there's many posts from members that are satisfied with springs for a daily driver.
I've heard some favorable opinions on Suspension Techniques, B&G, H&R and Eibach pro-kits. Looking into one of these setups myself.

I have agx's, H&R springs, M/E bumpstops with prothane mounts and all works great i love this setup nice ride not bouncy at all nice and stiff all around.

and yes before i had intrax springs which are 1.9" drop and tokico blues the car was all over the road it bounced everywhere so if you do a drop more than 1.5 get shortened struts like koni's and or agx which are adjustable get after market bumpstops or cut your old ones with a hacksaw
