What are signs of having a broken axle? Would the car be driveable or will there be loud *clacking* or *rubbing* noises coming from that side. I have a bad camber, and i noticed before that it caused a rubbing noise, and after getting an alignment and camber work done it stopped, but after the engine swap we had to take out everything so you guys think it is the camber this time again? Thanks.

bro sounds like you might have a more serious problem if you have to get the camber adjusted again. when was the last time you had the camber done?? what kind of camber kit do you have? before aligning the car again check the rest of the suspension. make sure all your bushings are in working order. make sure nothings bent (control arms tie rods etc.). as far as the axle goes a dead give away is grease everywhere. check under the car for thick grey-ish grease on your wheels. also listen for a consistent clicking sound while accelerating on turns. if that checks out then youll have to dig deeper... hope that helps

Can the broken torn boot be fix with duck tape and grease.. i have this mess on both sides, how long before it snaps. i need to get new axles soon damn it

Yah, go ahead and get silly with the duct tape. Just get the area as clean as you can beforehand. If the tear in the boot was recent and you didn't get any dirt/water inside, the axle should be ok for awhile.

ive snapped the drive shaft on my old XE torqued it right off. all i gotta say big rims automatic and wanna be burnouts suck ass.
