I tried to call you Monday when I got the message. The valve cover was in fairly good shape. I went ahead and repainted it though. It's nice. The ECU should be in this week.. I'm sorry about the delays with the shipping charges. Money has been tight lately. However, I got paid Monday and I have the funds now. I fired the motor up with the DE ECU the other night. I ran smooth with no problems. Great motor man! I will do my best to get the 60.00 out to you tommorow. And once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Keep in touch with me...I'd like to meet up with you all this summer. Maybe a little friendly race..hehe

I am just trying to get a little clarification here......
So what exactly are you saying?
You mailed the money because you got paid Monday?
Or you thought about mailing it?
Or you will think about sending it?
I know you told me you were going to mail it on March 1 when you got paid and that obviously hasn't happened either. I see that you have found the money to purchase other parts that you have needed for your swap...........I guess it's a good thing I am not needing this money, it's just merely the principle of it all. I knew I should have send the box to you C.O.D. I think I have learned my lesson. And BTW, the balance due is $75.00 not $60.00 as stated.

first of all...you told me the price up front, then, after I send you the money and HKS(worth more than 1400.00 that you were asking)you tell me that it's extra for the crating and shipping. I had no problem with that at first. Then..I get the motor, it has no valve cover and missing one of the windage trays. So...I have to wait 3 fucking weeks for that. In the meantime, you're breathing down my neck about the damn money that "i owe you." I give up waiting..and pay 15.00 for a windage tray from Nissan, 75.00 for a valve cover from Andreas, and 20.00 for a Water neck from Chris at SR20 development. So, I'm pissed. Did you realy think that I was going to send you more money...when I had been waiting for almost 3 weeks for those parts and you kept giving me the runaround? Quit dogging me and making me look like an asshole on this forum. I have to send the valve cover back to andreas and get the 75.00 back from him...so you'll have to be fucking patient. If you don't like that...then that's your problem.
Oh...and then, while I had to wait for you to send the parts, I had to pay 200.00 for the car to sit in the shop. Ask Joey Rhodes on this forum...It's his shop. Of course you probably could care less...all you care about is your money.

I would consider this a warning for people.... be sure and get your money up front.

Travis contacted me and we worked a deal and I told him that the motor was a long block (a long block is the complete block and head assembly) except for the fact that it was missing the timing cover. I explained to him that the price didn't include shipping. I also told him I would include some misc. stuff that was not listed on the ad (intake manifold, throttle body). He sent me the money agreed upon and his unit HKS unit along with $125.00 for shipping because it was undetermined exactly what it would cost to ship at that time (didn't know the weight crated and such). I also tried to work out a way to meet him in Houston so he could take delivery but we scrapped that idea. He told me to let him know what the shipping difference was and he would reimburse me for it. I shipped the motor on the day I told him I would. I called Travis and told him that I would ship the remainder of the items when I got back to Corpus because I needed to pick up an intake manifold and throttle body from a friend to send out to him. I wound up sending Travis any and all parts I could find for the DET to make his swap as easy as possible (flywheel, throttle body, intake manifold, water neck, water lines, distributor.....etc. many items that were not in the original sale of the engine) Travis received the engine and the box of misc. stuff and told me he would get me the remainder of the funds in the next couple of days. Then it would be the 1st of March when he got paid. He told me he was missing one of the pieces for the windage tray and the water neck and also explained to me that he was unable to re-use his valve cover and I told him that one was not included in the price but I had one that looked terrible here in Corpus or I had the original DET valve cover in Dallas and would ship him that one. He chose the DET valve cover. I called my friend in Dallas to look for the piece to the windage tray, water neck and to send the valve cover. He couldn't find either of the 2 pieces missing and never sent out the valve cover to Travis. I explained to him that the only thing I could do is see about getting the piece of the windage tray from a friend and ship it to him, he told me he had gotten one from the Nissan dealer and made it work. I told him the only thing I could promise him is that I would ship the valve cover when I got back to Dallas. When I got to Dallas we found the water neck. I shipped him the valve cover and water neck the next day. I decided not to send it C.O.D. to save him a little money and because I felt bad about the delay in the delivery. He once again assured me that he would get me the funds out. It has been 2 weeks since I sent out the valve cover and water neck.

That's a well orchestrated story Jon.... lol. I'll send you the money because I don't rip anyone off. But, just as I had to be patient when you wouldn't answer my calls or voice mails, you'll have to do the same. This is both of our faults.. Are you realy putting all the blame on me? Come on man... you know that's not how it went down. You never ONCE told me that the motor wasn't coming with the valve cover. When I got the motor, I didn't make a big deal about it b/c I thought mine would just go right on. When it didn't, I called you and asked why there wasn't a valve cover. You offered me a choice between two of them...I told you it realy didn't matter..I just needed a valve cover to get the motor running. I was nice enough to offer you reimbursment after I sent 125.00 already b/c I didn't want to inconvenience you. But, after seeing how you weren't overly concerned about getting me the rest of the parts, I got pissed and said screw it. You've cost me so far:

200.00- extra 3 weeks shop rental
180.00- car rental
75.00- extra valve cover
20.00- water neck
15.00- windage tray

That's 490.00...Now.. you're bitching about 75.00?! Are you that ignorant to not see why I'm so pissed off? And even still, I'm going to give you your money. Because that's the type of person I am. But don't come on this site and trash me b/c I value respect...and you my friend are disrespecting me.

U will get your money im sure. Travis always pays his depts. I think yall should just calm down and move on. And stop bashing each other. It will not do either of yall any good in the long run.
