I am putting a .82 turbine housing on my friends Eclipse. The DP flange is very similar to a internal wg housing, but two of the bolts are off.. Is the flange any different??

huh? you have the flange, and it is off by 2 holes, and you want to know if its different? :) Just kidding. I think you are asking if upgrading turbine housings on a T3 requires a different flange or DP, right? if that is the question, then no, the flanges, spacing, etc are all the same. I was measuring several T3 housings today for this very thing. everything from .48-.82 has the same relationship between the inlet and outlet flanges. The external dimensions of the 'snail' increase with a/r, as does the bore of the outlet, but the flange location/shape is identical. Also, the stage V housing is the same externally as the regualar .82, but has a larger outlet bore.

Or, are you asking if changing from internal to external gate means new DP?

On the pic you have there Take the hole straight above the WG outlet. Say that is # 1, then count clockwise (to the right :D) as 2,3,4,and 5.

Then #1 and #3 are off by over 1/4 inch. I will try to get picts but my 700+$ digital camera was stolen!!!
