(909) 379-2698 ok when i disconect the tps idle jumps to 1500? is it suposed to do that? i warmed it up reved it 3 times and shut it off. then when i disconect the tps and start it up it jumps to that 1500. with the idle that high it looks like the timing marks at 19*. ?????? should i lower the air valve to drop the rpm's to 800? Right. If you look at the FSM it tells you to make sure the base idle is set correctly before you check timing. What does the FSM say the base idle should be set at? 750 +- 50? Adjust it to that spec and re-check the timing. it should be pretty damn close. As far as gettign the FSM I swear you can download it from a post here on the forums. do yourself a favor and DL the thing. | ||
