: Drop in 11:1 pistons?

Are there any pistons on the market that will raise compression to or around 11:1 without having to bore the cylinders? The only thing I could find so far are the factory 10:1 pistons. TIA :)

Its a shot in the dark but wouldn't the VE pistons work? I assume its the same bore cause the displacement is the same. Correct if I'm wrong, I know very little about the VE.

This is an easy one. 300ZX naturally aspirated pistons will almost drop in. It neeeds to be bored which gives you 2045 cc, but if you were replacing your pistons, it should be bored anyways.

shit, just re-read the original post, no boring allowed. forgive my stupidity

not that i'm aware of. even the JWT 11:1 pistons you'll have to bore 1mm to get 'em in.

Mason, are you sure you want to do this? You may have one hell of a time passing DriveClean (edit: make that AirCare - you're in BC) with higher compression.

However, if you retard your timing way back, you can get the NO emissions down, temporarily.

I'm not worried about emmissions, as there is a loophole which is quite commonly done here which allows me to go 4 years without Aircare testing. I figure the car will be either dead or off the road one way or another by then!
