BTW, I just had my car Dyno'd. And it's official. 2HP gain with Joel Wards P/S Eliminator kit.
Plus, the motor revs a lot easier too.

that PS eliminator kit, how much does it run for, what does it remove, and how hard is it to install?

I am having this kit CNC machined. I should have prices soon. I suspect the $130-$150 range for the 2nd generation kit. It is not to hard to install, I did it in less than 2 hours. It is a direct bolt in process.

I am pleased with the result. Unfortunatly we may never know how much HP has been freed up when the car is actualy turning.
This is great for the se-r cup cars power to weight requirements because only 2hp registers on the dyno but on the track it could be up to 10hp!

so what is removed from the car?
The P/S pump and lines, as well as the P/S fluid cooler. Which never works.

is this practical for a daily driven car?
After having the RTR P/S Eliminator kit on for over a month, I will say YES!
It took me about a week to get used to having no p/s, but now, it's no longer a big deal.

I just installed my p/s elim. kit on Fri. I got it from Joel. It took me a day to get used to but it's not any different than if you had a Sentra E. It's just that you're used to p/s. I like it. It gives you that hot rod feel. Besides I need the exercise. I got the kit mainly to clean up the engine bay. I can actually get a grip on my oil filter now. And a big THANK YOU to Joel. He took the time to design this and offer it to the public. And he's more than willing to help you out with questions.

Well considering the first kit went on Tom Paule's se-r cup race car and has run 6 full races, as well as all the qualifying, warm up laps and being driven to and from the track, also a couple of hot lapping events and a sometimes daily driver . The rack has suffered no adverse affects.

Not really. But considering how I drive, I'm lucky to get any kind of gas mileage.:p
