Ok, my car is experiencing 5th gear popout. I cant even use the 5th gear anymore. Anyway Should I buy the kit from Courtsy Nissan? From what I am gathering the B14 tranny fits on the 91 classic. Would it be cheaper and more benifical to use the b14 tranny? Is courtsy nissan the only person that sells the kit? What would you do? Hit me up with some advice peeps, I could use it

The popout fix kit from courtesy is a lengthy fix. It takes hours. Its not a hard job, but it is time consuming. Courtesy Nissan, as far as I know, is the only one to sell the "kit." The kit is just a collection of genuine Nissan parts put together by Courtesy Nissan. Im sure Greg Vogel at Mossy or even your local Nissan dealer could put together the same kit for you as long as you provided them with the list of parts included in the Courtesy kit. If I were you, I would look for a tranny that does not have popout. If you cant find one, you really dont have a choice but to do the rebuild. Good luck.

I would also look for a newer B14 tranny. I don't think that even if you save a few bucks, the time just is not worth it to me.

Where could I find a B14 transmission? is it a direct swap for my 93 NX2000? I cant use 5th gear either.
