Hi Guys,
I don't know if this message is right for this message board or not but sometimes you do get lucky,
Is there anyone else from South Africa on the Forum.
1) I would like to know how big difference the Cold Air Intake change makes under South African Conditions.
2) The Chip Upgrade for the SR20DE by JWT was said to be the best one, in SA we have the uni-chip that is used for all cars. Does anyone here have the JWT Chip and did you get it in South Africa. I would like to put the chip into the car end of next month but needs to know how it is performing in the performance and fuel economy. The uni-chip is said to increase peformance by about 10% while saving about 10% fuel as well. I don't know whether to beleive the performance part or not cos from what I understand, they would also increase timing when the Dyno is done on the car and that does increase the power without having a chip.
So if someone does have an answers for me, please let me know.
I have read the stuff in the forums and the SE-R website as well but it doesn't have what I would like to read.
PS. I can't get any of this info. from Nissan South Africa, that is why I posted this.
Thanks Guys,
Mervyn G
