Whats the cheapest place to get an OEM fuel filter? My idle flucuates from 750-800, and i've been told it could be related to fuel delivery. i figure i should probably swap the filter anyway, considering i don't know if the previous owner ever did. The car's got about 111k on the clock. thanks fellas.

you can get fuel filters for pretty cheap.. any auto parts store should have them

I replaced mine when i did the swap, I went out and bought one from Nissan for (i think) $20.

I am thinking about changing fuel filter too..

My questions is do we have another filter on the fuel pump in the gas tank?... Shouldn't we change that one too, if we're replacing the one in the engine bay?

buy it from an online Nissan dealer. Should cost about $12. Cheaper and better quality than what you can buy at Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.

I brough my Fuel filter from Pepboy and i got the one for 300zx TwinTurbo.

It work on the car but i don;t know if it will help the performance.

I am just guessing bigger is better and the lighter is better.

Just buy one from the dealer. Its not that expensive. And its "keep it real".

And here I thought I was the only one to do this.. Hey it works great on my car.

I got a 300zx TT fuel filter too with my DET! Only thing i noticed about this filter and a stock one is that it takes a half-second longer to startup.
