Before i just guess i figure i would ask you guys to see if anyone knows the difference i the grade of the 8:3:1 pistons that they sell on nismoparts.com they have a few options but i don't know how the scale goes or whatever so i would love it if someone could tell me the best and worst ones they offer

There should be around 3 different grades. You should measure the bore of the cylinders to get the coreect grade. Usually they give different grades due to imperfections that need to be machined off the cylinder walls. For example you would need one grade larger lf you plan on honing .

You need to check the stamp on the block to see which grade pistons you need! *EVERY* SR20 has numbers stamped on the deck of teh block that tells you which grade you need per cylinder. Each cylinder will have it's own grade; they can all be the same or they can all be different, you never know until you check the block!
