I just bought a shift boot for my Nissan 200SX and I need to know how do secure it underneath the trim plate. Any sugestions would be great. Thanks you for your time.

I cut out the stock wire(in the stock boot) that clips to the trim plate and sewed the leather boot around the wire like the stock boot and it worked great. It takes some patience though.

I purchased a 200sx boot for my Classic and and I just screwed it on from underneath. Worked like a charm.
