How many of people are really interested in a stb for the rear of their classic?

I was hoping to hear some opinions on what makes one better than the other. I know people are interested in a functional one that is easy to install and requires no drilling or cutting. Thanks to everyone who voted!

Gustave Stroes' BMW E30 M3 Performance Site has a very good explanation of some of the forces a proper strut bar must be designed to handle.
Here's a link to his informative site:
http://e30m3performance.com/myths/Strutbar_Theory/strut_bar_theory.htm

Once you read his article, you'll see why I (and I'm sure others)would choose a proper strut tower bar over a pressure fitted bar.

My first design bolts in between the rear towers, it is not a pressure fit design like random thoughts.I'm working on design #2 now, it will bolt to the top like a front does. No cutting or drilling required.

Pricing and pics. will be posted as soon as I get the first 2 done. Probably between $60 and $75 is a good est. This could change, I will try to keep them in this price range.

Everyone who is interested in a rear stb please vote. It doesn't matter if you want 1 now or 6 months down the line. I just want to know how many people are interested. When I get the design finished I can make them at any time. TIA

Have there been bad experiences with people making rear stb's? Please enlighten me. I have only been on this forum for a month or two.

well 3 of us have them here in brooklyn and they're great but you have to drill holes in the struttower no biggie. to make a strut tower bar go into the bolt holes, up top willcost alot to make so will cost over 150 ducks easy. so we paid like 90 bucks I think drill and wallah same thing as the front ones if you ask me. but we had alot of guys saying yeah i'm in and only 6 were sold I bought 2 of them. you're better off asking the guy who made them last he has a jig for italready and IF you get 10 or more people he can do it cheap and they are powder coated nice piece! Subculture any input on this. any one remember the guys name and # for orders?

If there has been any problems, I believe it was the fact that all of the previous designs were comprised designs. One design that actually bolted to the top of the strut towers forced B13 owners to cut sheet metal on mount. Not many were willing to do so and as a result few sold. The second design was purchased by quite a few B13 owners. It didn't require metal cutting, but unfortunately it did not bolt to the tops of the strut towers. Some, like myself, didn't like this (Gustave Stroes' BMW E30 M3 Performance Site has a very good explanation of some of the forces a proper strut bar must be designed to handle.
http://e30m3performance.com/myths/S..._bar_theory.htm ) Many have been eagerly waiting for someone willing to design/build a rear STB similar to the one detailed on Pat Griffith's site.
