Well, how do you do it? Do you have to take the mirror off the car, or what? I have new driver's side mirror glass to replace my old but I can't figure out how to swap it. Anybody done this?

TIA

Tilt the mirror all the way back and look at it from underneath. You will see there are two slots at the bottom, between the mirror, and the tilting mechanism. Use a screwdriver in the slot to pry the mirror off the backing. Pull the bottom of the mirror towards you, there are clips holding it at the top. There is also some double sided tape holding it on, but once you pop it free at the slots, you can pull it right off.

Look in your tool box for a hammer, use hammer to break old glass, put new glass in :) You never specified that the glass had to come out in 1 piece :D
