Hey everybody,

I've searched the archives but have not found a definate answer on this. I'm going to be installing a BB T25, 370cc inj., Walbro 255 fuel pump, 3 in. exhaust, greddy type 's' BOV and starion intercooler front mounted. I was wondering, I know this is a very frowned upon but, is it possible to run this setup with the stock DE ecu using a 12:1 FPR and retarding the base timing?? This would be just for a matter of 2 or 3 months until i send for my JWT ECU. I think it could work, keep in mind this would be on running on STOCK boost with 370 cc injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump. TIA

Why don't you just wait? What's another few months? It is way too easy to blow up your motor with a turbo.

Couldn't you just put the stock MAF and injectors off the DE engine on there for a while? Then you'd atleast not run the risk of detination...just a thought....

Eh, that's completely backwards. At least if he ran 370's with a fuel pump, he would run rich. He would detonate if he ran lean.

I thought the 259cc injectors didn't top out untill about 220 hp or so...? So how would he run lean? Gas in oil is bad...gas breaks down oil....therefore gas getting into the oil would cause the turbo to have lesss lubrication...correct? Correct me if I'm wrong here......
