hmm, just a question or two. but ive stumbled upon some mufflers that have really taken my interest. how about a dynomax? i was piddling on summitracing.com and came across these. they are very well priced to me.(cheap!!!) and have great flow. could i put one of these on my car with a stock b pipe? the model(s) that im looking at are the Thrush Magnum Bullet racing muffler($31 bucks)http://store.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/norm/WLK-24215_m.jpg the thrush turbo muffler($25)http://store.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/norm/WLK-17702_m.jpg , and the thrush glasspack($15)http://store.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/norm/WLK-24200_m.jpg
all of these mufflers are made by dynomax. ive heard good things about them from se-r.net im pretty sure. ive come to realize that spending 170+ dollars on a muffler is kind of worthless money. your not getting much power for your buck. so why not just get one thats not huge rave popularity brand that flows good? thats all there basically is to it right? get more exhaust out quicker? and this would be necessary for me since i plan on getting a place racing intake this summer. the magnum bullet racing muffler is my favorite of the three. though could i put it on my stock piping with no major trouble? it has a 2 1/2 inlet. also, would these be so loud that it would be a hazzard to have one?:D i really love the old classic raspy british 4 cylinder sound, as i have a mg to blame that on:D . i dont want to get in trouble with the cops thouhg. i dont hink i shouldnt though because all i would be replacing would be the muffler. the piping would all be the same and no header or anything. the reason why im doing this is because im going nuts, i have to hear my engine , and ive realized that i need to get more exhaust out before i get more air in. so what do you guys think? and even just to try, 30-40 bucks aint that big of a waste:D so whadda ya think? should i go crazy and get the raspy sound goin?!!:D :D
