okay guys, im totally disturbed and i wanna cry! someone please help me!

i have a 94 B13 w/ a GTi-R DE-T. now heres my problem. i lost lots of power. like lots of it. mostly bottom end power. i run rich. and i have thie horrible misfire. ive replace my plugs, wires, cap/rotor, by passed my MSD to stock and still nothing. i use all OEM parts. can someone please give me some ideas? my vacume is fine so i dont have a vacum leak. what can be the problem?

im aggrivated. i hate it. please someone give me por Jay Whitely some ideas.

can it be the distributer going bad? can i lose lots of power becuase of that?

thanks in advance guys.

I also have multiple misfire but i have a b14 w/ sr20de. The factory manual suggests checking for intake air leak, egr system, exhaust leak etc...

Do you have a cat on your car? If so, check to see if it looks like it's melting inside. This will cause a loss of flow.

i have no exhuast, nothing, im running right off the turbo. and the GTi-R DE-T doesnt have EGR system. so i dont know what it is

i doubt i have an intake leak. but then again who knows right?

Could be the distributor or the igniter chip inside the distributor. Is the GTi-R distributor the same as the DE one? If so, I'd take the 10 minutes worth of work and borrow a friend's distributor with a DE and see if that fixes it.

Sticky Injector, bad o-rings around the injectors, clogged fuel system....

What's ur vacuum at idle?

Did you install the apropriate resistors into the fuel injector harness when you installed the motor?

just a thought

with GTi-R swap I did into a 96 SE-R... however the car never run right from the start... its been in there a week, and its been screwed since... here is the whole story, short version:

Did swap, put ballast resisters supplied by Chris@SRDevel in the injector harness on the uncommon wires.

Car runs too rich, backfires, etc. Checked for intake leaks, none found. Run car on dyno, makes crappy #'s and A/F is rich off the scale.

Hook up snap-on fuel pressure computer thing, it says between 26-30 at idle.

Lower fuel pressure would generally cause the A/F to be leaner... however I would think that it would be a leaking injector then... but the FP regulator should be able to keep pressure up with a leaky injector at idle... which brings me back to the regulator, any why isnt it lean then? i dunno...

I was going to change the dist. cap and rotor, but now that I see the fuel pressure is screwy, I want to work with that first. I am thinking tommarow I will pick up a cap, rotor, order an adjustable regulator, and see what happens with that stuff installed. ALso have an electronic in-car FP gauge to install to compare readings with.

Edit... also adding to my concern, even after going over all the vacuum lines, I am only getting 16 inches at idle.. seems a little low...

ARGH.

16-17in/hg sounds about right to me. thats what i idle at. i dont think its a fuel system problem, but ill check that out too. I am going to swap out my distributer and put the stock coil back in. see if anything happens.
