I was wondering what the widest tire size any of you guys have stuffed under your wheel wells. I'm not shy about shaving the fender lip off either. I was thinking (I think someone said they had them anyway) 225/45/16's. Either that or 215's, but I really want the widest tire possible.
If you do some cutting and rolling, you might be able to fit 225s.
The largest possible tire you can fit in there without rolling anything is a 215.
I run 215-45-15 with a +35 offset, and it's a perfect fit. The tires are actually 218 mm across.

Which brand are you running 215/45/15 I can't seem to find a tire in that size? How do they fill up the wheel well?

I was able to squeeze 225/50/14's on for autox on a 14x7 wheel.
I don't remember the offset.
The fenderes required rolling.
The rears required a spacer but not the fronts.

The only tire you'll find in that size is the Toyo T1-S.
They fill up the wheel well all the way without rubbing.
