my exhaust noise today got very loud kind of sounds like it the exhaust it in the front
what could this be

Check the flex pipe!!!

I had that about a year ago. I think it was a donut gasket, going from the exhaust manifold to the pipe. Got it fixed cheap at a muffler shop, but he had to cut off the heat shield and everything.

No, I remember now, the pipe was cracked. The guy at the muffler shop just welded it back together.

Just get under your car and try to listen to where it is coming from, then look where you see the noise. Last week my exhaust sounded super load, I got out and found that the exhaust pipe had rusted through just behind the resinator and was actually pulling out. Im just waiting on my new midpipe from courtesy now.

i'm probably going to purchase the courtesy catback now so it can all get done at once

No, I did it for 3 weeks!!!!!
