I have been thinking about removing the molding on my doors and rear quarter. Anyone done this on a b14 and have some pics? What is the easiest way to go about doing this?

I removed mine only because they were looking like crap and I bought new ones and had them painted. They're easy to remove, just pry one end up and start pulling.

I don't know why anyone would want to remove them though. The car looks cheaper without them and you're more prone to door dings.

I took mine off to get away form the long stip of black going along the side...I think it looks good from far, but you should just get them painted. It does look a little cheaper.
