ok my friend has a s14 and hes puting a s13 sr20det
does anyone know what intercooler piping to get ?
does he fet the s13 or the s14 intercooler piping

Buy the piping kit made for the engine.

S13 engine = S13 piping
S14 engine = S14 piping

Since your friend is doing S13 engine into S14, you'll want to use the S13 piping kit.

Just buy a generic intercooler kit for about $200-$300, then fab up your own piping kit. Thats what i did, works perfectly, cheap, gives a slightly custom look, and it pretty satisfying (sp?) knowing you made your own. I will take pics of it as soon as i put on my tubular manifold today.

AS FOR THE PIPING I USED 2.5 AND IT WORKS FINE EVEN ON MY OLD BUILT MOTOR @ 563HP .... THERE ARE A MILLION OPTIONS AND WAY YOU CAN DO IT ....

yeah I say custom is the best way to go. What I am gonna do anyway. I have a Kinetic Motorsports FMIC. then RUnning 2.25" Hot side piping. with 2.75 Cold side. I think it;s the best way to do it. you might also wanna consider Blow Through.
