You could, but most of us use Redline - the turbo guys use heavier stuff, but the rest of us including the VE guys use MT90. $7 a quart if you look around on the 'net, I like the ; takes 4 quarts. I like the guys at http://www.myoilshop.com/.
Worth every dime. Hands down the most amazing difference for 30 bux I've ever seen in a car. Completely different gearbox.

Oops - just noticed you're a bit far away. Don't know if you can get that stuff over there - I'd see if they'd ship it over if you can afford the freight; it's worth it.

Your LSD is a sealed viscous unit as long as you have the same gear box as all of us. The tranny fluid doesn't reach the LSD unit, so you need a good quality fluid as Jerry recommended the Redline. If not that, there have to be some good fluids available at a motorcycle shop, etc.

MUST BE GL4 tranny fluid. Cannot stress that enough. Do NOT get GL4-GL5. It will eat the synchros.

That is why most of us go with the MT90, hard to find just GL4 tranny fluid anymore.

we use the gl4/gl5 shyt at work....anytime a vehicle comes in requiring gl4, there is a huge debate between me and the assistant manager ending in me going nowhere near the car and someone else servicing the gearbox. i refuse to be responsible xxx amount of miles down the road.

use the redline!!!

yap, it is a bit far away, but i will try to find out if it available in Taiwan..because it could be too much to pay for the flight..
One more question, how about JOMO LSD Gear Oil compare with Redline?

See if you can find out what Aus/NZ guys use. That is probably what will be more available to you.
I have Redline heavy-shockproof. Gets my approval out of all the redlines I've run. Only ~2000 miles so far so we'll see.
