I have a 92 SE-R and the blubs for the gauge cluster are burnt out. I've been trying to pull the cluster to replace the bulbs, but the cluster won't come out far enough to disconnet the electrical connections. How in the hell does this damn thing come out?

You need to go into the engine bay and disconnect the speed sensor cable from the back of the tranny. Once you disconnect that cable, it will allow you to pull the gauge cluster further out.

AND: ante up your $35 or whatever it is, become a forum supporter, and get your hands on the pdf fsm's in the supporter area. (or go to ebay and get REAL lucky and find an fsm for $5 inc. shipping yes I got REAL lucky)

not nessacary if you can reach up behind the cluster and disconnect the cable from the cluster. although, im used to getting to it in a car with only the main dash, none of the other panels, and lost of missing wiring......so behind-dash access is really easy.

but it is easier to disconnect that cable from the tranny when you put it back in!:biggthump
