Thank to your donations, we are now live. I looked at many solutions and decided to go with managed vBulletin hosting. Since I'm home for lunch from work, I will post more info including updated donation info later tonight.

Please vote in the poll.

I voted faster, but only slightly. The site wasn’t really sluggish before, but every little bit helps.
Thanks again. Considering all the possible outcomes, having the forums down for less than a total of 36hrs over a couple of weeks is nothing.
I werk for a pretty well off Gov agency in the Chi-town area and our IT support/lack of can be bruttal at times.
Hey am i the first poster post move (save your announcement).
COOL. *edit* NOT! *end edit*
Oh yeah, and thanks to all who contributed, this would have been a sorely missed resource.

I voted faster, and it is, way faster.

But I am at Washington State University, and their LAN is FUBAR 6/7 days of the week, and it could just be a low traffic time (mom's weekend, all the lil computer jockeys are out visiting mom.. speaking of which! time for me to go :) )

thanks for your efforts regardless.

Just out of curiosity, is there anyway to make the server accessible without including www in front of the domain name. If not, no big deal.

http://sr20deforum.com/ doesn't work.
Only http://www.sr20deforum.com/ works.

By the way, the dedicated server seems to be running very quick!

At the moment, no, but I'm working on fixing that.

Sorry for the delay in any updates, but I have experienced a crippling server failure. I can't tell you how glad I am that the forums were moved before anything happened.

Needless to say, I'm stuck with that for the next couple of days. I want to make sure there is a post regarding the donations and to bring everyone up to date on that.

Thanks...

The whole debug error on the main page isnt too much fun either.

What error is that?

This one http://members.cox.net/whitese-r/error.JPG

Then at school I always get errors prompting me to debug on the main page.

Am I the only one?

That is IE being stupid. I would disable that because there isn't anything wrong AFAIK with the main page. :)

Matt this a DNS issue. Whoever your ISP is just tell them that they need to add a host entry for WWW on the domain.

You probably knew that already! :)

I have not notice the difference on access wise. I might post again regarding this. :)

Matt resolved the issue almost right after I made that post, 4 days ago. :)
