Anybody out there have them for the B13?
Impressions, ease of installation, problems, etc.....

I had it on my '91 SE-R. Well actually, I had the entire Stillen kit. IMO it's one of the better air-dams for the money. You might be better off buying the whole kit if you're into that, it was only $350 from Stillen.

Fitment wise, all was good, except the rear valence.

BTW, here is a pic of the rear valence. If you look closely you can somewhat see it doesn't fit that well.

I was considering just the air dam. I was wondering if it would look decent on its' own without the side skirts and rear valance.

Jim Scumacher has just the air-damn on his black '94. It looks good.

Do you know how much lower the air dam would sit than a stock '91 spoiler? I currently have Pro-kits but am "upgrading" to the Hyperco springs which will allegedly have a 1" drop only.

I was wondering what kind of a problem I would have with curbs, etc.? Also, how do you think it would look unpainted on my car which is red. I'm thinking it might have that old BMW, 240Z look.
(Or do you think it would look like crap)?

Well, the Stillen kit is fairly mild, so I don't think you'd have much of a problem. I never did.

I'm not sure how that would look having an unpainted black air dam on a red car, might look kind of cool I guess.

another advantage of the airdam not painted is that if you ever hit or scrape anything w/ the lip, you will not have to worry about paint being chipped/cracked.

That's what I was thinking. I'm just not sure if it will look good though unpainted.

You're in luck. Heres a picture of a red classic with an unpainted lip. This is the Nismo airdam though, not Stillen.

Hey guys, I was wondering if the price you guys mentioned on the thread is for the front air dam only or the whole kit? I check the Stillen site and I can't find that price $350.

How much $$ does Stillen list the kit for on the site?

I ordered mine (back in October of '99) it was $350, but I sort of had a connection. Although I can't see them charging more than $400 for it. It's like 4 small pieces and thats it.

too bad tey no longer make the nismo airdamn, i wish i had bought the last one they had ** they ran out. aww shucks

funny, i have a nismo spoiler here in good shape, i would be willing to trade it for a stillen front end :)
