OK, what are the 2 electronic plugs under my hood that arent hooked up to anything?? there is one above the valve cover just to the right of the fuel rail, and an identical one with the wiring to the left of the valve cover. Im hoping that its not only my car that has these. are they just extra??? kinda wierd if you ask me.

Diagnostic related? That would be my guess. I know what plugs you're talking about though.

I think it is cruise control. Do you have factory cruise? If not thats what it is.

I have the factory cruise control on my '93....yet....I have that one unused plug that is *right* beside the coil/distributor. I've always wondered....

ya, unfortunately my car is fully loaded including cruise and A/C, why the hell would nissan put power draining, weight adding cold air to a car that has T-tops?!!! all that is probably why my brothers bare 91 sentra se-r is quicker!!!

The Nissan Consult hooks up to the plug that is inside the fuse panel on the lower part of the driver's side dash (just above the hood release).

I'm like 90% sure these are for NON Cali cars, I THINK its for a EGR temp sensor that most cars don't have....
If I'm wrong, begin shooting - now.
