B and P series cars only allow the foglights to be operate when the headlights are on, and at low beam. If you'd like to be able to operate them with just the running lights on, or with high beams on as well, you simply need to

For '91-'92 B13's, move the purple wire tapped into red/yellow [10] to the red/blue [12].

I fucked up, I need to refigure this. But the above instructions work for '91-'92 B13's.

Could you or anybody post a pic showing where this lighting switch harness terminal is?
I just couldn't find it

Pull the steering column cover apart and it's the plug at the base of the turn signal/lighting tree.

So about the jumper.. What gauge would be good? 16?

Yeah.. sorry bout that. I had another thread open about the same subject. Posted in the wronge one.

That'd be fine, you're just powering the relay coil so it doesn't draw much current at all. You can use taps to make the jumper connections, or you can pull the pins from the harness and solder the jumper wire on, but that can be tricky to do and still have room for the pin to slide back in and snap into place.

I'm actually going to do that this week on my own car.

Edit: request for step by step photo.

I have pics for the '91-'92 but I need to figure it out for the later models since it can't be done at the lighting switch, it must be done in the engine compartment.

Here's the harness:

Here's the back of the harness, you can see the tap where the purple wire currently is and circled is the red/blue wire you need to tap into:

Here's another pic of the tap with the purple wire:

You remove the purple wire from the tap and tap it into the red/blue wire. It couldn't be simpler.

Have you had a chance to figure out the 93-94 yet?

Yeah, I pm'd the info to someone the other night. I'm going to do it on my own car so I can take pictures and all before I post it up.

ok. here it is. This is how you should do it for the 93-94. i'm really sorry for the blurry pictures, my camera was being weird.

This is the fuse box on the battery tray that you'll be working with.

and then just run your wire here to the passenger side blinker plug.

it only took me about 20 minutes to do last night.

I hope this helps a lot of you guys out with the Fog Light Mod.

Ask Rittmeister for the instructions I gave him. It's the right way to do it IMHO, and it works perfect.

He asked for the '95+ cars, so that was the link for what he asked for. I know the B14 fix does not work for the other cars. That's why I quoted his request, and didn't make a blank response.
