I want to make sure i did this right. I was told to set the fuel pressure when the car is not running and the pump is pressurizing the system. i.e. priming the system. For the four bar program, i did this and set it to 58psi. Want to make sure im right.

Make sure your car is idling properly, (@750-900rpms) and wait for the car to warm up properly as well. Pull the vaccum line off the regulator, and set the fuel preassure to 58psi. I tend to run my car a little richer than normal. About 60 or so. For the cars pushing the envelope, dre starts breaking out the consult and setting it on a case by case basis.
Anyway, after it is set, tighten the nut down very good and snug. I didn't tighten mine properly once and it almost cost me my motor cause the preassue was at like 30psi at idle by the time I found out. Then put back on that line you disconnected earlier.

So you set the pressure while the car is idling with the vacuum line disconnected. Correct?
