I'm still a fan of sicknx's better, the whole F-1 subwoofer look is very cool though.

I wouldn't ride in that if you payed me. Besides being imbarrassed to tears, I'd be scared of it falling apart under me. This is the worst travesty I've seen in years. Shame.

Baby Jezis will cry tonight. :tear:

I am not a fan of the front end nor the wing, but i do give respect for the time and effort these boys are putting in.

This is not easy work, I personally think it is cool to see people doing different things with the nx...wether it fits my taste or not.

A buddy of mine had a convertible altima, "reinforced"...
sure it looked good, but it was by no means a safe vehicle,
this doesn't look safe at all, but a great show car.

Holy Batmobile, Robin!
While I appreciate work and effort to create something unique, this one has gone past me. Way past.

They've done their homework with the reinforcement - in one of the early pics you can see the massive bar across the strut towers. I believe that's just a small part of the strengthening throughout the vehicle!

Too bad they didn't do the same with regards to style and taste. :running:

If today's ricers got a hold of the 60s bat mobile, this is what it would look like. Makes me sad. :( If they wanted to do something like that, I'm all for it, but make it look nice.

Yup. Most modified, or most tastefully modified?

Integra front end, roof-ectomy....:(

However, those sub things would look cool on say...a Miata. A car that was already a convertible, and those covered the parcel tray/backseat cubby for stylin'. Removable of course, quick disconnects on the subs, stereo easily reconfigured to work without them. That would be pretty hip, I could see the appeal in that scenario.

Well this is certainly interesting - in the UK the 'ricers' generally haven't a clue what they're doing, this kind of work being well out of their price range to get done professionally. They usually start with a beat up looking hatchback and make it look even more beat up, with heaps of mesh and massive holes where there aren't meant to be holes. I guess UK 'ricers' aren't in the same league as yours, we all think this looks pretty cool!

I suppose it depends on whether your aim is to keep it standard (or Euro-standard, even if you didn't buy your car in Europe) or whether you want to do something interesting with it. There was, of course, a company in NorthEast Europe (I think) doing this professionally - soft-top NXes. I think it was called the AirTop.

The car had previously been crashed (spun on ice - very easily done) - frankly I'm glad it was in the hands of someone who'd work on it, instead of sending another one to the scrap yard.
