I got a 240 with an SR in it, the AC no longer blows cold. Just hot, hot air in my face.
Anyone know a super cheap but good AC place, person to go to? I'd love to get an estimate on what all it needs to fix.

who did the swap on your car and what lines did they run for the a/c if its all hooked up right you may just need a good sealer and a recharge...and you can do that yourself.

not if it has been opened. It probably just needs an evac and recharge though.

ok well thats what I need to know.....the line off your ka wont work you need custom lines or lines off of a nissan pickup truck so they dont get it the way of the turbo plus the harness is a tad diff. its not just a plug and play thing to put ac in a swapped 240sx but I have done it .......a little welding and some magic and your good to go..........good luck with an a/c shop they wont tough your car most of the time because they cant look it up on the comp because its not factory anymore.
as for the guy woth the 200sx I have all the lines and comp. for a/c in your car let me know if you want it.......I love the heat.

the line off my KA won't work? what?
I dont have a turbo, i have an SR20DE. I used the KA harness, the compressor kicks on, everything works like stock, i just blow hot air.

try to line the a/c feed and return lines up to the comp. and see maybe the sr20de in diff. I have only worked on sr20det swapped cars and I have not had a line fit up yet. But if it does let me know because thats a easy way to put a/c on the det motor then. as long as it doesn't hit the turbo let me know.....and good luck
