Just out of curiosity what do you fellow SE-R peeps that have JWT S4 cams set your timing at for all motor aplications ? Are there any pros or cons about advancing timing with these cams? Keep in mind I am running my stock ECU. TIA!!!

The JWT S-series cams (S3/S4) doesn't like advanced timing, based on some of the dyno runs I've seen at various SoCal SERCA Dyno Days. 15 degrees BTDC seems to be the optimum setting. When my 200SX had S3 cams, it definitely liked 15deg better than 17deg.

Agreed.
When I dynoed my car with the S4 cams, it was much happier at 15 than anywhere else.

Is 91+ octane still needed for the S3's if you have the stock ecu and timing set at 15 degrees?
Good question.
I think you'd be fine with regular octane gas.
I would only go with higher octane if you advanced the timing or got a JWT ecu.
I have the ecu, so I run high octane.
