I'm finishing up my DET insall and I have a question. I am using the intake piping that came with the engine, and I don't know where one hose goes. On the intake piping there are three feed-nipples - 2 large ones (1" or so diameter) and one small one (like 1/8" diameter).
-one large one goes to the blow-off valve, to recirculate it
-one large one goes to the valve-cover oil vent fitting
-I don't know where the samll nipple goes - it is like 1/8" diameter...can anyone help me with this?
Also, I am using the stock piping that goes from the the compressor outlet to the throttle body. Right after the blowoff valve, there is a small tube that runs to the wastegate. Off of this tube there is a tee, that has a small (1/4" diameter) vacuum hose that is about 3" long. Does anyone know what this line is for? Perhaps the stock boost gauge? (If so, should I hook my boost gauge up to this line?)
If it matters, this SR20DET came out of an Avenir. Any help is greatly appreciated.
