I'm having some idle issues with my DET.. I've got the 370cc injectors running at 4 bar fuel pressure with a bored out SE-R MAF. The car gives me problems starting and idles kinda rough. If I raise it up to like 1200rpm the engine shakes a little as well. Above that rpm, it runs smooth.. The car doesn't kill or anything...it's just idling funny. Any suggestions?

vacuum leak, recheck and replace hoses

also, why are you running 4 bar on 370's?

I'm pulling about 25" of vacuum at idle(800rpm), so I don't think it's a vacuum leak. The 4 bar is what Andreas said to use to get more HP out of them. I had to replace some leaky o-rings on them though. They were leaking fuel into the intake manifold. I fixed that and the car seems to idle a little smoother. It hesitates when I get over about 1/4 throttle though. Could the TPS be off? I set the fuel pressure to 60psi at idle. I set it with the vacuum line on the regulator. Don't know if that makes a difference. Could it be choking on fuel? It sounds like it pops when I let off the gas. The TPS voltage should be at .45 right? I'll check those things...

25" of vacuum is a lot of vacuum, seems like too much vacuum to me, maybe your AAC is never opening?

Sup Steve-o. I think 25 is too much vacuum at idle too. I just finished putting together a pressure intake leak tester.

Also, did you replace cap, plugs, rotor, wires? Get some BKR7E's and gap them to .030.

me or travis?

i have new BKR7E's
cap, rotor, wires have only like 15K on them.

my knock sensor died, or the wiring going to it, i am gonna multi-meter the damned thing when i get a chance.

I got it down to about 18" now. The misfire was b/c of a fouled plug from running too rich. I can't figure this 4 bar shit out. I don't like it at all. I set it at 60psi with the vacuum hose off of the regulator and I runs rich as hell. I set it a few pounds lower and it runs lean. WTF?! It stalls on me anywhere below about 2500rpm and then it slingshots. Could it be the 02 sensor? I set the TPS at .45 volts and regrounded the MAF. The resistance I measured between the MAF ground wire and actuall ground was like .04 . I don't know if that's signifigant or not. I'm thinking about going with the 50lb top feeds and Cobra MAF and just get it over with. Any other input would be appreciated!
Thanks guys
