I had to put a new windshield in my car and I got it brand new installed for $160. Don't you guys have those guys that will come right to your house in their van with the new glass and will install it right in your driveway? $300- $900 sounds really high? Oh, well. Look in the yellow pages and call around for the best price.

The axles are actually really not bad to do yourself. It could save you some loot.

did u hafta order the glass from them? i dont feel like driving all the way to the junk yard for a windshield as it is, so hopefully they can get the new windshield for my car on their own.

Call them up, tell them what you got. They will have the glass for you, brand spankin new and tell them that you want to set up an appointment for installation. You will be much happier with brand new glass. Crystal clear. tada

It depends - if you turn the glass claim into your insurance its either completely free (KY has a wierd law or something about no deductible on glass) or its like $150.

However, if you do not turn it into insurance its very expensive.
