I am going to race my car for the first time this weekend and wants some tips so I can represent the Nissan community. I have a 94 SE-R. My mods are CAI,header,exhaust,S3's,pulleys,plugs,wires,GC coilovers w/ KYB AGX's,motor mounts,$tealin strut bar,ST front and rear sway bar,JWT pressure plate. I am running the 15' SE-R wheel with new Pirelli P700's. I also have the stock se-r wheels with some bald ass no name tires. Can anybody help me set up my car for the track. Tell me what to add/subtract to help me go faster. (suspension, tire pressure, what tires, how to get off the line, when to shift) Any advice will be greatful. I would ask some guys around here but they are all HONDA guys. THX fellas

Check out the SE-R.net drag racing tips.

Off the top of my head, lower the front tires to 20-22psi. Raise the rears to 45psi or so.

Keep the engine as cool a possible..... set you're AGX's to 1 in the front and 8 in the rear. I've also heard people setting them to 4 in the front, so I'm not sure which is better.

After each run, open your hood and let the engine cool down, and based on my experience, don't wait till redline to shift (I shift at 6700).

Good Luck!
