I was pretty impressed. It was white, with less options so it was only $17,600.

Impressed by the torquiness, although the low redline really sucked. I found myself shifting way before it seemed you should. The salesman also insisted on having the A/C on "to feel how cold it gets" until I told him to turn it off. My 140lb friend was with us in the car also.

Brakes were very touchy, but I guess that could be a good thing. The salesmen went with me so I couldn't go all out. I easily chirped into 2nd shifting near redline - car seemed to rotate pretty well around a few tight corners on a little road we took.

The ride was pretty much like my stock-suspension '98 SE - somewhat firm, never floaty, never harsh.

The salesman knew nothing about the car. He thought the base SE-R had a smaller engine than the Spec V, I told him "no they are both 2.5 liters" and he was sort of annoyed at that. He had no idea how to shift properly or rev match - typical sales guy I guess.

BTW, I have no intention of getting a Spec V, but my friend may just pick one up on Saturday because he loved it so much. :)
